- From Risk to Responsibility By Gianluca Spinetti, Sustainable Fitch
From Risk to Responsibility By Gianluca Spinetti, Global Head of Analytics & Product Development at Sustainable Fitch and Member of the Scientific Committee of the European University Festival Every day, financial markets assign a price to risk. Yet for far too long, climate change has been treated as a distant and uncertain cost — someone else’s problem, at some undefined point in the future. That time is now. And it also represents an extraordinary opportunity. The transition toward a low-emission economy is one of the defining economic and strategic challenges of our generation. It requires new data, new analytical frameworks, and above all, a meaningful dialogue between science, finance, and public policy. The European University Festival was created precisely for this reason: to bring these voices together in one place and turn ideas into real solutions. To students and researchers across Europe: your ideas are not only academically valuable. They are economically, socially, and humanly essential. Bring them here. #EuropeanUniversityFestival #SustainableFinance #ESG #ClimateChange #ClimateAction #Innovation #Universities #Research #GreenEconomy #Sustainability #Finance #ESGRatings #Future #Europe #Turin2027
