Strategic Partnership
Building a Long-Term Industrial Coalition for Climate Innovation
The European University Festival is establishing a structured industrial coalition to support high-impact climate innovation emerging from European universities.
Under the High Patronage of the European Parliament, the Festival combines scientific excellence, global media visibility and institutional governance to create a platform for research activation and industrial acceleration.
A limited number of Strategic Partners (maximum six) will be selected.
Each Strategic Partner will play a key role in supporting the development of the European Platform for Climate Innovation and the Final Phase of the European University Festival in May 2027 in Turin.
This model guarantees maximum visibility, strategic positioning and direct access to European academic innovation ecosystems.
Strategic Partnership Value
The Strategic Partnership represents the highest level of collaboration with the European University Festival platform.
Partners benefit from:
• Prime positioning within the European Platform for Climate Innovation
• Global media exposure through the Festival’s international broadcast
• Direct access to leading European university research
• Institutional engagement within a platform operating under the High Patronage of the European Parliament
The Strategic Partnership is designed to create long-term industrial collaboration around climate innovation.
Partnership Model
The Strategic Partnership is structured as:
Strategic Partnership Cycle (2026–2027)
covering the platform launch, the European Call for Universities and the Final Phase of the Festival.
Right of First Refusal for the following three editions.
Sector Exclusivity (where applicable).
Participation in long-term platform development.
This model ensures continuity, stability and measurable impact beyond a single event.
Role of the Strategic Partner
Strategic Partners are integrated at platform level, not as sponsors but as institutional and industrial contributors.
The role may include:
• Official Partner of the Global Concert for Climate Action
• Participation within the Scientific Advisory Framework
• Dedicated Innovation Award within the Festival programme
• Contribution to the European University Climate Action Fund
• Access to selected university projects for industrial dialogue and potential scaling
Each partnership is defined through a structured agreement aligned with governance and compliance standards.
Climate Innovation Program
The Festival will select leading European university projects addressing climate-related challenges.
Selected initiatives will enter a structured activation pathway including:
• Public recognition during the Final Phase of the Festival
• Access to industrial partners
• Institutional visibility
• Structured acceleration dialogue
The objective is to transform academic excellence into scalable real-world impact.
Governance & Financial Structure
The Festival operates through an NGO governance structure, ensuring transparency and institutional credibility.
The framework includes:
• Dedicated financial management
• Transparent allocation procedures
• Independent evaluation framework
• Compliance-oriented reporting system
All strategic partnerships are managed under formal agreements and institutional governance standards.
