Dr. Flavia Fabiano joins the Scientific Committee of the European University Festival

Dr. Flavia Fabiano is a researcher at the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD), a French research center recognized internationally for developing knowledge and solutions in sustainable agriculture, food systems, biodiversity, and territorial development.


Her research focuses on the governance of international agri-food markets and value chains, with particular attention to institutional innovations that support food security and the transition towards more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive food systems.


As a member of the Scientific Committee of the European University Festival, she joins the Food Systems group, contributing to the scientific direction of activities dedicated to sustainable agriculture, food security, and innovation in agri-food systems.


She will also contribute to defining the selection criteria for university projects in the fields of sustainable food production, value chain resilience, and food security, helping to identify the most outstanding research and innovation initiatives from European and international universities.
