Memorandum of Understanding between the European University Festival and Phoresta ETS for Sustainability and Cultural Promotion

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the European University Festival and Phoresta ETS with the aim of establishing a strategic partnership to promote culture, sustainability, and responsible economic development.

The agreement includes:

• The joint organization of the European University Festival

• The calculation and compensation of the Carbon Footprint generated by the travel of representatives from participating universities, through certified forest carbon credits provided by Phoresta ETS;

• The promotion of cultural, social, and environmental initiatives, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and corporate social responsibility;

• The creation of an international network connecting institutions, investors, and experts to support high-impact cultural and environmental projects.

This Memorandum of Understanding is initially valid for three years and represents a concrete commitment toward a more sustainable future, following internationally recognized methodologies and standards.
